Eid Al Fitr 2015 in Philippines will take place on Sunday, 19^th day of July in the Gregorian calendar.

Eid Al Fitr 2015 in Philippines will start at sunset on the last day of Ramadan, which means Saturday, the 18^th of July.  The celebrations will start after the morning Prayers of Sunday, the 19^th of July.

You need to be aware of 3 things:

1.  Although eid ul fitr is always on the same day of the Islamic calendar, the date on the Gregorian calendar varies from year to year since the Gregorian calendar is a solar calendar and the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar.
2. The exact dates of Islamic holidays are not on the same day in all countries of the world since each Islamic state declares the sight of the moon in their territory.
3. The Islamic holidays, similar to Jewish holidays and unlike Christian holidays, begin on the night before since they follow the lunar calendar.
