The Philippines has lots of festival and it is all over the regions. Each region has its own festival and each festival represents a significant thing about the town. Pabirik Festival is one of the festive festivals in the Philippines that highlights the beauty of the town.

WHEN IS PABIRIK FESTIVAL IN 2015

Pabirik Festival will be on January 25 and continues until February 2, 2015 which is Sunday until Monday of the following week.

Pabirik Festival always occur on the last week of January up to February 2

WHERE IS PABIRIK FESTIVAL BEING HELD

Pabirik Festival is being held at Paracale, which is also known as the gold town of  Camarines Norte.

WHAT IS PABIRIK FESTIVAL

Pabirik Festival is a festival that commemorates the gold mining in the province of Camarines Norte. This festival goes along with the 400th year Foundation Anniversary of the town’s Patron Saint which is the Our Lady of Candelaria. The word “pabirik is an essential mining tool used by the miners of Paracale which is normally made up of a strong circular wood used for panning a gold.

Pabirik Festival essentially accentuates on its rich mining industry while featuring their best gold products that are only available in the town.

During the festivals, food stalls, bazaars lined in the street of Paracale. The vendors took this chance to sell everything that they can because this is the time where there are many people roaming around the town and most of them are visitors from other places and countries. The festival is packed with activities that will surely delight the spectators. The following activities are the followings, Battle of the Bands, Kasiyahan sa Parke, Miss Paracale Pageant and the highlight of the festival are the street parade wherein the participants wear colorful costumes representing religious figures, fishermen and gold miners.

Pabirik Festival will be held on the 24th day of January until 2nd  day of February 2016 which is Sunday until Tuesday.
